One of the things I enjoy is finding solutions to problems.

During COVID, I was developing product for a boutique that had always imported from overseas. Suddenly they needed a local source, and for the first time in my career I had to learn someone else's creative handwriting. It was a challenge — but what I took from that collaboration changed the way I think about clothing entirely. Multi-season. Multi-use. Investment pieces you'd reach for year after year, not just one season.

That got me thinking about truly timeless silhouettes.

The ones that have been around for decades and never really disappear. And one of those is the biker jacket. I've always loved its attitude and its shape — but I wanted to bring it into our world. Something you could wear to work, layer through the seasons, put over a dress or a pair of trousers, and live in comfortably all day long.

That's how the Ryleigh biker jacket was born.

This week we launched it in two new colourways — persimmon and marigold. But whatever colour you choose, the story behind it is the same. A jacket designed to earn its place in your wardrobe and stay there.
