It's time to slowly start warming up our colour palette towards the new season that's just visible on the horizon. Yes, I know we're still very much in winter — layering is essential, and we're all still clinging to our coats and jackets. But as my pin cushion bush is starting to bud, I can feel the shift towards a warmer season coming nearer. And with that, I've been thinking about where to take our Quiet Classics collection next.

The shift already started with adding cocoa brown — but now I want to go a touch lighter. That's why I've chosen to add Dusty Rose to our palette.

I haven't traditionally worked with this kind of colour. Blush and dusty pinks are popular tones, particularly for special occasions and event dresses, but it's a colour I've steered away from because it has often felt a little too safe and a little washed out to me. But when I found this particular shade, I realised I had found the perfect tone that sits between a traditional blush pink and the kind of richer, deeper colours I love to work with. It is soft, delicate and feminine, with a warmth and richness that I believe will suit any complexion.

And when it's made up in our Magnolia maxi wrap dress, it transforms into what I believe is going to be the ultimate event dress for the 2026 occasion season. It looks beautiful with metallics, can be brightened up with a contrasting punch of turquoise or aqua, and works beautifully alongside other tones in the red family. We already introduced this colour a couple of weeks back in the Jenna pullover — but today we're bringing you what I think is going to be the piece that really makes it shine.
